Something that will entertain, maybe surprise and enthrall, or just educate.

We can provide a characterisation service, living books or at least living characters. We have a wealth of experience and contacts which allows us to provide this service. If you would like Sherlock Holmes and Watson* to tell their side of the story, or alternate characters from your favorite book or story to interact with your next event.

Characters can be interactive or none invasive appearing and quoting text or verse, ignoring participants. They can as easily lead the participants on tours, and mysteries. All to entertain and amuse.

*Please note this is not an appear alike service, this is a caricaturisation, our cast will take the role you specify to the best of our abilities.

Is it both, are they the same skill or two different tales in their own right. Is it a skill to plot a path and then expand that path into a tale that grabs your attention, your heart and mind. Is their more skill in taking a bad tale and making it grab your heart and mind. Is it the way the words fall from my lips that grabs your heart or is it just the words them selves.

I have no answer, I offer no advise. All I feel is that a good storyteller can still tell a bad story and good story can be presented badly.

The storytelling sessions for children and schools are broken down into:

  • First open story session intended to engage the group.
  • A object based story intended to involve the group and stimulate discussion
  • A creative session with story telling props intended to give ownership to the group
  • Second, final story session to entertain the group

A private party session is broken down into two 20 minute sessions of open telling and a session of prop based storytelling to encourage the groups involvement.

Please note these sessions are more suited to small parties 4 – 12 people.
